Her life beginning and her life forgot

Why blog?

Here is why I have chosen to blog, since I didn’t realize that tumblr gives me a limit after writing a short story earlier, I will share the abridged version…I went to college to obtain an English degree, I currently manage a gym on my own. Literally, I have no co-workers aside from a lady that cleans a few days a week. It’s been 3 years since college and I am ready to start utilizing my degree and pursue my passion…WRITING!!!  What better way to sharpen my skills than blog?

I started a twitter account for my dog Gizmo almost 2 months ago, and he has already gained 600+ followers. The reason I started it was to share his daily adventures, fiascoes, and situations that make me laugh and smile everyday. I thought at the most he might have 10 followers interested in his daily events, but I have been surprised at how many people care.  Even before I started his twitter account, I had wanted to write a children’s book about his life.  I know it seems like a far fetched dream, but if reality TV stars with no formal education or common sense can write a book, why can’t I?

Other than the children’s book, I would love to write my own story. I want to share the story of my last 5 years. Of how I went from the lowest of low and now heading to the brightest future I can imagine. I would love to reach even one young woman and hopefully inspire her in a way that she will never feel that what she’s going through is the end, or that her life will always have to be the way it is now. I would be happy knowing that my story changed someone life.  So this first blog is to establish the reason behind me signing my dog up for a twitter account. But I must say, I enjoy his twitter more than I do my own. He has a lot more funny and enjoyable pals than I could ever imagine.
